Happy Why Wednesday! It is important to keep asking ourselves why we do what we do. All my life, I have been a proud Catholic. I feel so blessed to have my faith. I think there’s a lot of confusion for many who aren’t Catholic (and even for some who are) about the process of Confession. For Catholics, it is a Sacrament where we confess our sins, do a penance, and then are forgiven. However, many people forget the last step which is to LET IT GO! (Insert the humming of the Frozen song here.) Once we are forgiven, God wants us to learn from our mistakes and to be better from the lesson learned. While we are supposed to diligently work on not committing the same sin again, we also are not supposed to keep beating ourselves up from the past either. No matter if you are Catholic or not, we should all practice the art of seeking forgiveness from God and each other. The Learning Club is here to help you to learn your life lessons. Once again, on this Why Wednesday, we should go W.H.Y.L.D. (pronounced WILD) by asking ourselves my favorite question: What Have You Learned, Dorothy? You can ask this even if your name isn’t Dorothy. Go make today fun, and learn your life lessons!
