Clap Clap Change

I just attended an amazing leadership workshop from the comfort of my home office! I paid for a live streaming of the conference, and I didn’t have to pay any ridiculous prices for my lunch. I could even sneak in some work or fun during the breaks.

While I have writer’s cramp from taking notes from amazing stories, the sum total of the conference can be given with two hand claps and one word. Dave Ramsey’s Entre-Leadership conference was so inspiring. During one of his talks, he told a story of working with an employee who wasn’t doing a project correctly. When the employee started complaining, Dave just clapped twice and simply said, “Change.” Sometimes the best medicine comes from the easiest of tasks. You can have the most elaborate plans to transform yourself, to be better, but the best plans don’t work without your simple dedication to just change. From the Queen of making things more difficult, I am going to take this sage and simple advice. Happy changing!
